Blended Emergency First Aid at Work Course Aim
Blended courses offer the option of learning the theory content on-line then only requiring the practical aspect of the course to be delivered in a ‘classroom’ environment – this style of learning suits some people and organisations as time ‘off the job’ may be reduced as the practical element is only 3.5 hours. The on-line element must be completed within 7 weeks and prior to the practical session. After we receive the candidates individual email addresses we will send a link to a eLearning portal where we are able to monitor the progress and produce management reports as required.
The course content is the same as the traditional 6 hour face-to-face, classroom style course as detailed below – asterisk’s indicate the practical elements, but tutors may confirm learning in other subject areas.
The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981, state that all employers must assess the need and supply appropriate first aid provision. Although anyone can be ‘appointed’ – will they have the knowledge to effectively – this Emergency First Aid at Work, or EFA course will hep candidates:

Course Objectives

This exciting course has been developed to help learners retain info ‘rmation better by relating it to individuals workspace and everyday life.

• Bleeding, Breaks*
• Burns
• Epilepsy
On successful completion of the course each delegate will r eceive a certificate which is registered with the awarding body.
